Description
This hardneck garlic is a variety well known for its beautiful purple stripes. It has about 9-12 large cloves per bulb of garlic. It has quite a rich flavor when sauteed or roasted. It can also be eaten raw as it does not have an overpowering garlic flavor. It was first collected in 1985 in Georgia.
Both culinary and large garlic bulbs can be used for any type of cooking. Large bulbs are better for roasting, and are big enough for planting.
